Civil Registration and Residency Services Agency branch office of woreda

Eligibility Criteria:

• If the child's birth has been registered, the previously registered information regarding the child's biological father and grandfather will be recorded based on the court's decision to determine paternity. (Unknown father reign).
• If the child's birth has not already been registered in the register of honor, the birth will be registered according to the birth registration instructions.

Supprting Evidences

• The registrant must bring his or her resident/national ID or passport.
• Registrant must be presented with a court order.

Reminder

•  The residence ID will not be given by proxy and will not be renewed
•  Ethiopians diasporas and foreign nationals living abroad are not issued residence ID
•  Resident ID will not be issued at any business house.
• Any resident who is issued a resident ID will be issued with a resident ID for a period of four years, and upon the expiration of the service period, the ID will be returned and a new ID will be issued.
